AWebsiteForLawyers is a trade name of SBWeb, LLC, which also operates as Sedona Website Design and SBWeb – Santa Barbara Webdesign.
Proposals and Pricing
- Proposals are valid for seven days.
- Pricing is based on the services detailed in our agreement. Any service going beyond what is mentioned in the agreement may be subject to further charges.
Content and Limited Number of Edits
- Content will be based on your content document(s). We might provide you with words to include in your content to improve search engine rankings. You are responsible for the accuracy of all content, including any text we draft or generate for your review.
- We ask you to limit the number of edits to a maximum of two revisions, since pricing is based on it. The accepted format is MS Word. We do not accept PDFs or handwritten notes.
- Once the content has been applied to the website, two further edits per page are included. Additional edits can be subject to hourly rates.
Design Edits
- We do not offer unlimited edits. Once you have approved a design and it has been transferred to an HTML website installation, only small adjustments are possible. Additional changes that affect the structure of the templates can be subject to additional charges.
Add-Ons, Images, and Logos
- You are responsible for purchasing images, videos, and add-ons. Add-ons are paid in full when ordered.
- Logo design is not included in our web design services.
Hosting
- With our managed hosting setup, we handle server maintenance for your site. FTP access and admin-rights based access to the control panel can only be granted in case of transfer to another host.
Access to Control Panel
- You can request Editor access to the back end of the site. We provide an initial training to learn the software. We also grant you 45 minutes of free changes per year.
- Admin access can be granted under certain circumstances. Because it includes the ability to change core elements such as themes and plugins, you then take responsibility for the site’s security, content, and software.
Payments and Ownership
- The site remains in our possession and control until the final payment is completed.
- A site can only be published after all payments have been completed.
- We reserve the right to ask for the final payment three months after signing if the web design process is delayed on your side (twelve months for projects over $5,000).
- Failure to pay annual hosting fees will result in website suspension after five days, and server accounts are deleted after two weeks. In case of non-payment, website files can be retrieved for a $240 fee.
